CalEDLN was started as a partnership of information technology specialists from the California Resources Agency’s CERES Program, Sonoma Ecology Center, and the UC Davis Information Center for the Environment. Members of this committee participate in the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI), the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII), and digital library research activities at the national and international level. CalEDLN works with regional groups to support their data networking efforts by identifying, recommending, and leading collaborative development of universally-needed solutions.
What is CalEDLN?
The California Environmental Digital Library Network (CalEDLN) is a collaborative project dedicated to the development of an open network of digital libraries that share information about California's natural environment.
